Leak detection powder
Our powder reduces time to detect damaged sleeves as well as locating structural leaks such as cracks caused by poor welds or other joints that are not visually detected.
If required, we can supply the lamps.
We also have powder for precoat.
Note that the amount of dust to use is 1 kg for every 200 m2 of filtering surface.
Functioning
The powder is light and fluorescent; to locate the dust sources inside the bags or cartridges we use a lamp that produces a monochromatic light. Once the leaks have been repaired and solved, a second test can be carried out with powder of another color, and thus check that the leaks have been eliminated.
Color range
The powder colors we supply are pink, green, orange and yellow.
Composition
The composition of the powder is:
- Pigmented melamine.
- Sulfonamide.
- Copolymer formalin.
